PHILOSOPHY OF IVANHOE ART CO.
I believe on a fundamental level that Ivanhoe Art Co. sits at the intersection of community and the arts. Creators have a responsibility to elevate what they experience, hold a deep respect for the craft of storytelling, and continue to be curious of the world around them. At Ivanhoe Art Co. we have an insatiable drive to produce content that is engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and rich in storytelling. Through a collaborative process with many hands, equipment, and perspectives we aim to craft the kind of content that you can consider art.
Where did the name come from?
I’ve been very fortunate to spend a lot of time in a small section of Orlando called “Ivanhoe Village,” a humble and inviting borough north of Downtown Orlando. This area has some of the best kept secrets of local bars, coffee shops, restaurants, waterfronts and walking paths. Whenever I’ve been dreaming up the future, I’ve likely been there on a walk or enjoying one of the countless establishments. I’ve had many evenings where inspiration has struck enjoying the atmosphere of this village so to page homage to an area that has given me so much, I’ve decided to adopt the name for my production company.
